Welcome to the absolute pinnacle of 90s producer procrastination: drum selection paralysis. Why actually write a song when you can spend an entire weekend painstakingly A/B testing 26 different snare drums? Volume 16 is a massive rhythmic buffet designed to guarantee your drum bus sounds incredible and your track never, ever gets finished.

26 Distinct Drum Kits: An exhausting array of acoustic tubs, ranging from tight, deadened 70s studio kits to aggressively gated snares that sound like a heavy textbook dropped in an empty squash court.

19 Percussion Groups: Because standard drums simply aren’t enough. Prepare to pepper your sequences with shakers, tambourines, and the exact right amount of cowbell to satisfy any lingering Christopher Walken delusions.

The Finger-Drumming Fantasy: Explicitly “ready to be used with… any MIDI controller.” Ah, yes. The majestic, deeply un-ergonomic art of aggressively slapping your index fingers on unweighted plastic synth keys to simulate a sweaty, polyrhythmic drum solo.

Pop this disc into the SCSI CD-ROM drive of your E4 Ultra, EOS, or ESI sampler and let the beat drop. It’s an entire warehouse of expensive, meticulously tuned acoustic drum shells that conveniently will never show up late to a gig or organically speed up the tempo during the chorus.
